I was just searching for an example of the value that individuals with dyslexia contribute to societies, so I turned to Liz Ditz’s I Speak of Dreams, because I know that she’s kept closer tabs on that topic than yours truly. She doesn’t seem to have a tag for the topic, though; so, I jumped over to Google and searched for the phrase “high-achieving dyslexics” at her site.
Sheeeeeesh! The search returned 102 hits. Way to go, Liz!
Back to this article….

Ok, John, I’ve been thinking about adding a tag just for that and now I will.
Coool. It’s a good resource.
OK, enough with the procrastination–here’s the list (not 102, but growing):

I got tired of the celebrity list and the “Einstein was dyslexic” myths, so went looking for people who aren’t famous (although a few, such as Bruce Jenner) are included.
Hi,
Just saw this blog and thought you might be intrested to know about myself. I’m certainly not famous. But i am a dyslexic and have been since the age of seven when i was diagnosed. I’m now 21 years old.
I am about to publish a book in three weeks time and have run a company in the Uk called Transient Innovations Ltd for the past year. The book is called “The Storms of Acias” and can be found on my website at dominictook.com.
Its great to see all these blogs out here raising awareness of dyslexia and hopefully all the other related subjects such as ADHD ADD Asbergers, dyscalcula.
If you want to use the information on any of my sites for your study, you may.
