Reading Rockets, one of the public outreach activities of the public TV station WETA the US Department of Education, has added a blog called “Sound it out”. Here’s a great part: Sound it out is written by my friend and former colleague, Joanne Meier. They’re just getting started, so you can follow along as the blog develops. Paul Sanchez, whom some readers might remember from an entry on LD Blog in November of 2005, is at it again. The earlier post refers to his solo bicycle trip around the US. This time he’s reporting on an activity he’s dubbed “8 Wishes,” which refers to actions he hopes to complete to promote awareness of Learning Disabilities. On 8 Wishes Paul has a report of his progress, including achieving the first wish: an interview with Paul Orfalea, founder of Kinko’s.
